Why does my eSIM work but SIM manager does not see it?

If your Simgiga eSIM is working but does not appear in the SIM Manager, it could be due to the following reasons:

Possible Causes:

  1. Software Glitch: A bug in your phone’s software may prevent the SIM Manager from displaying the eSIM, even though it functions normally for calls, SMS, and data.
  2. eSIM Provisioning Method: If the eSIM was installed via a QR code or manual provisioning, it might not properly sync with the SIM Manager interface.
  3. Device Model/Region Limitation: Some Samsung models or region-specific firmware may not fully support eSIM visibility in the SIM Manager, even if the hardware itself is eSIM-compatible.

Solutions to Fix the Issue:

  1. Install a New eSIM: Adding a new eSIM profile might overwrite the “invisible” eSIM and restore proper functionality.
  2. Software Update: Make sure your device is running the latest firmware. Software updates often fix issues with SIM Manager and eSIM functionality.
  3. Factory Reset: As a last resort, resetting the device to its factory settings could resolve the issue. However, this will erase all data on the device, so be sure to back up your important information beforehand.

If the issue persists after trying these solutions, please contact Samsung support for further assistance.
