Does iPhone 8 / 8 Plus support eSIM?
No, the iPhone 8 series, including the iPhone 8 and 8 Plus, do not support eSIM. eSIM is a newer technology that allows users to activate mobile plans without the need for a physical SIM card. The iPhone 8 was designed to work with traditional nano-SIM cards only. eSIM functionality is only available on later models starting with the iPhone XS and XR.
