My QR code does not work. What should I do?

Great guide for troubleshooting eSIM issues! Here’s a summary of the key points to ensure smooth installation:

  1. Phone Compatibility & Unlock Status: Ensure your phone is compatible with eSIM and is unlocked. If your device is locked, you must contact your carrier to unlock it.
  2. Scan the QR Code Correctly: Do not use the camera app directly to scan the QR code. Instead, go through your phone’s Settings menu and follow the appropriate steps to add an eSIM.
  3. Ensure a Stable Internet Connection: A Wi-Fi connection is required to scan the QR code and activate the eSIM. Make sure you’re connected to a stable network before starting.
  4. Manual Setup: If scanning the QR code still doesn’t work, you can manually enter the activation code provided by the eSIM provider. This option can be found in the eSIM settings.
  5. QR Code Expiry or Multiple Scans: The QR code has an expiry date and can only be scanned once. If it’s expired or already used, you won’t be able to scan it again. Check your phone's SIM card settings to confirm if it’s already set up.
  6. Customer Support: If none of the solutions work, don't hesitate to contact customer support for further assistance. Many providers, like Simgiga, offer 24/7 customer support to resolve issues quickly.

It's important to remember that proper setup and internet access are key factors in a smooth eSIM installation process.
