Does Samsung Galaxy S6 series support eSIM?

No, the Samsung Galaxy S6 series does not support eSIM, including models such as the S6, S6 (USA), S6 Duos, S6 Plus, S6 Active, S6 Edge, S6 Edge (USA), S6 Edge+, and S6 Edge+ (USA). eSIM is a newer technology that allows you to use mobile plans without needing a physical SIM card. The Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge were designed to work with traditional nano-SIM cards only.

This feature is only available in later models, starting with the Samsung Galaxy S20 series. Since your current device is not compatible with eSIM, you can still take advantage of eSIM technology in the following two ways:

  1. Using a Special SIM Card Adapter: There are special SIM card adapters available that can convert your mobile device to handle eSIM profiles, bypassing the need for built-in eSIM support.
  2. Upgrading to a Newer Model: The most straightforward solution is upgrading to a newer Samsung Galaxy phone that supports eSIM. You can check out the list of eSIM-compatible Samsung phones to find a suitable option.

Note: Be aware that eSIM is not available everywhere or on every device. Your location or the retailer you purchase your phone from may affect the availability of eSIM.
