Travel Advisory: Restricted Airspace During Rehearsals & National Day
To ensure public and aerial safety, the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) will enforce Temporary Restricted Areas (TRAs) over parts of Singapore on select days in June, July, and August 2025.
These TRAs will include Marina Bay, the Padang, and various heartland districts, extending from the ground to 2,500 feet above sea level. Most of Singapore will fall under these zones on Saturdays and on National Day itself.
What’s prohibited during TRA hours (without permits):
- Flying drones, kites, or balloons
- All unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) activities
Penalties can be severe up to S$20,000–S$100,000 in fines or imprisonment up to 5 years for repeated violations
